Vegan Gluten Free Genmaicha Scone
Makes approximately: 3 scones
1 stick (2g) NODOKA Genmaicha powder
1/4 cup Chilled coconut oil
1/4 cup Oatmeal flour
1/2 teaspoon Baking powder
2 teaspoon Potato starch
1/2 cup Rice flour
1/4 teaspoon Salt
☆3 tablespoons Soy milk
☆2 tablespoons Amazake
① Combine the dry ingredients, except ☆ mark and chilled coconut oil, in a bowl and mix together.
②Add the coconut oil and use a pastry cutter (or fork) to cut it into the mixture until only small bits remain.
③Whisk the wet ingredients together. And mix wet ingredients and dry ingredients.
④Cut dough in half lengthwise. And cut into a 1 inch thick round and 3 wedges. ⑤Transfer to prepared pan, brush tops with soy milk, lightly tent them with foil. And bake in a preheated oven at 180°C (350°F ) for 15 minutes, then remove the foil and bake at 200°C (400°F ) for another 8 to 10 minutes.
Remove from the heat and enjoy!
